IMPORTANT NOTICE

You should submit your Schengen visa application as early as possible, but no earlier than 6 months and no later than 21 days before your planned trip. The decision on a Schengen visa application is made within 15 calendar days from the date of submission. In exceptional cases, if additional documentation is required or further examination of the application is needed, the processing time may be extended to 45 calendar days. Each application is forwarded to the Ministry of Interior of the Slovak Republic for assessment. Without the Ministry's positive opinion, the embassy cannot issue the visa.

Our New Slovakia Visa Application Centre is open from 6th of November 2023. Applicants can now visit our centres with a prior appointment.
